About Muhammad Ali Hasan

Muhammad Ali Hasan, a native of Colorado, is a filmmaker, teacher, environmental scientist, small businessman and political commentator who advocates on behalf of tolerance, love, and cross-cultural understanding.

As Co-Founder of Muslims For America, Hasan worked to build more bridges between America's political system and the American Muslim community.

Hasan was a regular guest of the Varsity Panel on CNBC's the Dennis Miller Show and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher. Hasan can currently be seen regularly as a political commentator on Fox News, MSNBC and GEO-TV, as well as heard regularly on BBC Radio.

Hasan's prior experience includes working as a tyro-public school teacher in Franklin High School of the Los Angeles Unified School District, as well as an assistant to environmental scientist, Dr James Sadd. 

Hasan finished his MFA in Film Directing in May of 2007 from Chapman University. In completing his Master's, Hasan was sponsored by Eastman-Kodak Film, Panavision, and Color By Deluxe. Hasan was recognized as a Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker Finalist of 2006 and a Panavision Emerging Filmmaker of 2007 for his directing work on his latest independent film, Rabia. Hasan currently operates his own film production company in Colorado, Rabia LLC.

Hasan also owns Sangre De Cristo Capital LLC, a land development company based in Colorado.

An avid snowboarder, Hasan likes to think of himself as a budding comedian. He hopes to be instrumental in the creation of World Peace. Hasan was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, and lives in Eagle County, Colorado, with his dog, Deelya.
